A New Look. An Old Legacy. 

On May 13, 2016, Providence Hospitals became Providence Health, and with that change, a new look, logo and mission was unveiled.

Name: "Providence Hospitals" changed to "Providence Health" to fully encompass ALL of the health system's offerings. 

Logo: The new logo carries on the image of a cross, designed to resemble stained glass, honoring our past and holding promise for our future. 

Colors: Purple and gold have a liturgical representation of renewal and rebirth. In addition, these colors signify royalty, dignity and achievement.

Mission: Making Communities Healthier by Extending Christ's Healing Ministry. This statement aligns with the mission of LifePoint Health and demonstrates an unwavering commitment to continuing Catholic healthcare at Providence.
